More big G0KSC antennas have been lifted to the sky this month including the longest 2m antenna I have designed so far! Bozo, 9A2VR built the 22el LFA Plus2 at 17m long. Here is what he had to say about his new antenna:

'I have not precise instruments but diagram on beacons seems very nice. On receiver side I had really very low noise. My location in urban place, on the top of one industrial building (about 50 m high with many motors down) is very sensitive and without noise blanker it is hard to work DX on 144 Mhz. With Your antenna I turn off NB and automatic I had much lower IMD on my receiver. For me, good diagram in vertical plane is very important, and Your high price software doing nice job.'

Another nice system installed this month was that of DL1FCI who installed 4 x 12el 144MHz LFAs for EME (Earth Moon Earth) work. The antennas look mighty fine on the tower (photo below) and Ronald had these comments:

'G0KSC,Justin good antenna, low noise from City,no kritical for wetter (sorry for my bad englisch)''

Ronald, DL1FCI

Impressive - the 4 x 12el LFAs installed at DL1FCI

Frank DL8YHR decided to try a crossed array for EME and a crossed OWL (Optimised Wideband Low impedance) which was designed by G0KSC for him. The OWLs (which are 12.5Ohm Yagis (with a split dipole)) where fitted with a folded dipole driven element in order that a 50Ohm feedpoint would be seen. Frank made an excellent job of building these antennas which can be seen below:

Got a G0KSC array in the air? Let me know about it!
