Professionally built G0KSC Antennas by InnovAntennas

The dominance for the LFA Yagi on 6m continues as more and more big guns convert to this proven antenna platform. Saturday 24th April saw me take a trip to G8VR where on behalf of InnovAntennas, I helped install 3 x 4.4m long 5el 50MHz LFA Yagis.

Kerry's Yagis are on an 18m tower and spaced at 3.5m apart. Not an ideal spacing arrangement but still almost 30dB F/B is achieved with almost 14.5dBi (19.99dBi with ground gain) from these very compact booms.

Both G3OIL and G3ZSS installed 2 x 4.4m 5el 50MHz LFA Yagis this month with those at G3OIL pictured above. But it is not just the smaller 5el versions that are being placed around the globe ready for the 2011 50MHz activity period. W7EW has ordered 6 x 7el WOS LFAs from InnovAntennas which will be installed this summer while N0UU is applying the finishing touches to an incredible 12el 50MHz LFA at some 23m long!

Finally, G8BCG has installed his 4 x 9.8m long 7el LFAs in an H frame for EME activity and don't they just look great! Are you going to make the change this summer? Let me know if you need any help!
