G0KSC Writes for the ARRL in the 2016 Antenna Book

The success of the G0KSC antenna designs in both amateur and commercial worlds has been marked with proven low-noise properties and wide band performance (not just SWR) in one package. North American hams adopted the LFA with open arms which results in the LFA being the most frequently home-built antenna in the USA. This did not go unnoticed by the ARRL who asked G0KSC to contribute to the VHF/UHF section of the 2016 ARRL Antenna Book.

I have removed a lot of the old ideas and concepts, replacing them with modern and proven facts along with providing detail information of correct software model to built antenna principles and even a whole heap of new designs for the reader to self-build.

NCJ interviewed me too and this will appear in the next edition and some of the above mentioned material is discussed. Finally, for all those QST readers, I have committed to 6 antenna articles next year too and will release some of the more exiting and yet to be published designs.

As a footnote stay tuned to DUBUS magazine, in the next issue I will conclude my most recent design and build article there too, should keep you occupied over the winter holidays as it is released in December!
