Mike LZ2DF installs a new 7el 9.5m long LFA and works PJ6D for a new one!

 

The 9.5m long 50MHz LFA at LZ2DF

 

On Mike, LZ2DF's second day with the LFA on the LFA on the tower (24/6/2011) he worked more than 80 JAs in one session. He says he is now a big fan of the LFA Yagi by G0KSC!

 

Peter Weatherall G3MLO decided to build 4 x 9el 144MHz LFAs on a return to Ham radio after a 10 year break. Peter says he is very pleased with the results and has been hearing GB3ANG up to S9 under seemingly flat conditions and with the beacon being over 600kms away!
