21Mhz OWA Yagi Antennas

Dual Band Quads

Free Yagi Antenna Designs for Ham Radio

Hams from around the world build G0KSC Antennas every month. However, this time we will showcase some G0KSC HF OWA Yagis instead of the LFA

'Is a honor and a pleasure for me the send you some photos of my realization of your project !!

The OWA worked "as is" as soon as elevated on the support, with great results on air (i'm not a big gun, but is nice to break throw some pile-up --also ST0R-- in one or two calls with only 90 watts  from my old FT1000MkV-Field !!)'

'Please find photos of the finished 10M 5 elements...SWR @ completion (without further tuning) 1.3-1.4 across the band.. Manage to contact JA while still on top of the scaffold.'

'The SWR is as the SWR Plot on your website. The preformance has been great, last hour I have had contacts DH, DC, S55A65, P29, UW, IZ, RU, F5, UT and OE. The propagation on 10m is great.'

Hi Justin, I see Dave vk4ndx has sent you a photo of the 28mhz 6 el owa yagi at my place VK4QH

Mate this Antenna is bloody awesome.

1.0 swr from 28 to 29 mhz. had a pileup i had to walk away from on sunday  got spotted 7 times in 23 minutes.

It also is resonant at 1.4:1 on  7mhz about 100 khz usable bandwidth without a tuner. so i put out a call and got a 5/9 into peurto rico... Hows that for a bonus.

Just like to say thanks for the design that dave could use to build this monster...cant wait for the arrl 10 meter.

OK, just one LFA Shot !!

2 x 9el 144MHz LFAs at GM3PMB

'I also attach a screen shot of GB3VHF at 559 Km. over the local 2,500ft mountains and then over the same height of the lake district. This is about the best I have ever recorded so I think the array is working! If I get anything over 30dB over noise it is a very strong signal and can reach about S4 on the TS2000 meter. So now to work on the Linear!!'
